What Is Green Living and How Do We Do It?

“Green Living” seems to be a popular buzz-word out there today. No matter where you live, from California to DC to Alaska, the environment is a becoming an important issue within politics, religion, the media, and now to individuals too. Everyday there seems to be a new tip or trick to help us live the “green” life.
But green living isn’t some quick trick. It isn’t something you buy from Walmart either. It’s a series of personal choices that is different for everyone. Each person has different spending, consuming, and wasting habits. If we all tried to reduce and improve our spending, consuming and wasting, we’d be moving toward a more ethical kind of living– green living.
Green living considers others– especially future generations. It isn’t a call to buy more stuff! It certainly can be done inexpensively, although the “green” market is booming right now. This blog will seek to explore life changes- big and small- to determine what green living really entails and the outcomes it can bring.
